Labour of Louvre
Paper, wire, light, sound

Labour of Louvre is the physical and auditory embodiment of the act of making art. The piece is directly referential to its artist, reflecting her personal storm of labored creation and personal frustration, while simultaneously absorbing and reflecting the sounds and uttered musings of its inhabitants and viewers.

The pieces is a storm cloud of paper frenzy that creates a light filtering archway which the viewer can enter and pass through, all the while listening to the symphony of sounds that went into its creation.
